Mhara Leaming

The reason that I chose to start a career and business in real estate is because I learned that I enjoy the entire home buying process through the purchases and sale of our two homes. All the wonderful and sometimes stressful emotions that emerge while selling or buying can truly be best described as a roller coaster ride, with plenty of highs, lows, twists and drops. However, when the last form is signed and the dust settles someone’s dream comes true and that is why I love real estate. I want to help people find their dream homes and businesses. The sparkle in a new home owners eyes as she holds the key to her new cottage or the relieved sigh from an exhausted landlord when his rental property is no longer weighing him down. Those are the just a few of many reasons I have grown to adore this profession. I am excited what the future holds for my business and my family here in Lincoln County.
My family moved to Lincoln County from Dickson in May of 2018. We chose to move here because it is affordable, close to family, has good schools and has a homely community. I attended Lincoln County High School and fell in love with the warm atmosphere that simply radiates from the friendly faces and rolling hills. One of my favorite places in town includes the local public library, if you haven’t been then go check it out and open up a book! After that you should go grab a coffee at Java Road and some lunch at The Local Cafe! You will quickly see how at home the locals of Lincoln County can make you feel. When you’re fueled up on fuel and caffeine walk a couple blocks down and visit us at Burt & Co. Southern Real Estate!

Your Southern Real Estate Journey

When you sit down with Mhara, you get a clear picture of what buying or selling in this corner of Tennessee really involves. The process starts with a conversation about your goals, then moves into practical steps like site reviews, market comparisons, and a timeline built around your schedule. That straightforward approach helps you feel steady from the first showing to the closing table.

This region has its own rhythm—slower in the countryside, busier near the lake, and steady in downtown Fayetteville. Properties here range from historic brick homes on tree-lined streets to modern cabins overlooking Tims Ford Lake, so there is no single template. Mhara helps you read the local market, understand pricing trends, and make decisions based on what you actually see and hear.

Neighborhoods We Know Well

From Lynchburg's quiet lanes to the shoreline communities around Tims Ford Lake, each area has its own character. North Alabama buyers often look this way for more land and a friendlier tax picture, while locals know that Fayetteville's square is the heart of daily life. Mhara will point out the practical details—commute times, school zones, flood zones, and how the seasons affect access to marinas and river access.

Before you make an offer, take a few trips to the neighborhood at different times of day. Walk the streets, stop by a local café, or watch the sun set over the lake. These simple steps reveal whether a place truly fits your life. Mhara can arrange for you to see properties with plenty of time to ask questions, so your final decision feels informed rather than rushed.
